Description
DisplayPort 2.0 (DP v2.0). Capable of pushing 80Gbps compared to DisplayPort 1.4a which only achieves 25.92Gbps.
The most important factor with resolutions supported via DisplayPort 2.0 is if your signal is compressed or uncompressed. Uncompressed displays are supported more with currently hardware but offer a lower colour range (BPC) Compressed images offer a higher resolution however your hardware will need to support DSC compression to be supported.
Single Screen Setups: DP 2.0 handles up to 15360 x 8460 resolutions which is 16K with HDR at 60Hz however current hardware setups are restricted so will need to support DSC1.2a display stream compression rates to push this high pixel count this will avoid any pixel loss across the compression rate supported.
DisplayPort 2.0 also supports a 10240 x 4320 (10K) resolution without HDR at 80Hz and up to 24 bpp (Colour). This single-screen resolution does not require compression.

DP 2.0 offers great resolutions for dual-monitor setups. For instance you can run two displays with a 7680 × 4320 resolution (8K) and HDR at 120Hz with 30 bpp (DSC required). Want a higher refresh rate? Crank the resolution down to 3840 × 2160 (4K) to get 144Hz at 24 bpp. No compression required.
Three Monitor Displays
DP 2.0 has you covered! Up to 10240 × 4320 (10K) at 60Hz and 30 bpp using compression. And like the dual-monitor setup you can reduce the resolution for a better refresh rate: 3840 × 2160 (4K) at 90Hz and 30 bpp without compression on three screens.
The Braided Cable (7 mm Diameter) offers protection over time and ensures the cable is hard wearing preventing kinks and damage to your cable over time
Metal Housing for a stylish and robust finish
Backwardly compatible with previous versions of DisplayPort (v1.4a/1.4/1.2/1.1)
2m Lead (approx 6ft)
Gold Plated Contacts
Supported Resolutions:
Compressed (Hardware must support DSC compression):
One Display: 16K (15360 ×) display @ 60 Hz with 10 bpc (30 bit/px HDR) RGB/Y′CBCR 4:4:4 color
Two Displays: 8K (7680 ×) displays @ 120 Hz and 10 bpc (30 bit/px HDR) RGB/Y′CBCR 4:4:4 color
Three Displays: 10K (10240 ×) displays @ 60 Hz and 10 bpc (30 bit/px HDR) RGB/Y′CBCR 4:4:4 color
Uncompressed:
One 10K (10240 ×) display @ 60 Hz and 8 bpc (24 bit/px SDR) RGB/Y′CBCR 4:4:4 color
Two 4K (3840 ×) displays @ 144 Hz and 8 bpc (24 bit/px SDR) RGB/Y′CBCR 4:4:4 color
Three 4K (3840 ×) displays @ 90 Hz and 10 bpc (30 bit/px HDR) RGB/Y′CBCR 4:4:4 color
